Matadero Madrid
Matadero hosts the sixth edition of Madrid, Navidad de Encuentro (Madrid: Christmas Gatherings), which reflects the values of the capital, a city that aims to be an example of welcome and coexistence. This year, Matadero is once again one of the main spaces for the Christmas programme, with a diverse offering that changes throughout the day and offers activities for all ages: concerts, workshops, games, unique shows, and a gastronomy zone. Germany is this edition’s guest country. Its wealth of tradition and culture is covered in a rich and substantial programme in which music at nightfall puts the icing on the cake.

Snow Forecast at the Matadero Plaza
20 December - 3 January, starting 6 pm.
Snow falls every day on the Matadero Plaza to add its magic to this Christmas of Gatherings. There are six performances, one every fifteen minutes starting at 6 pm, to experience a typical Christmas landscape, a moment to share.
Gartenzwerge: Garden Gnomes
Amigo & Amigo
After travelling halfway around the world, these giant gnomes visit Matadero Plaza to celebrate Christmas with the people of Madrid. A spectacular and endearing installation by the Australian company Amigo & Amigo, inspired by the German tradition of garden gnomes. A unique opportunity to photograph unforgettable memories.
